Resource Raleigh Offers 12 Workshops for Nonprofits

The City of Raleigh’s Project LIFT (Let’s Impact the Future Together) is hosting another Resource Raleigh conference April 28 at the NCSU McKimmon Center in Raleigh, NC. Workshops and networking activities will focus on strengthening local and statewide nonprofit organizations. Participants can choose to attend three of 12 different workshops on grant writing, volunteer management, fundraising and legal issues facing nonprofit organizations. Attorney Ashley Perkinson will present Updates for Tax-Exempt Organizations.  Her presentation will address recent changes to IRS filing requirements, when and why you need a solicitation license, and other important legal updates that may affect a nonprofit’s operations.
